It was even better than I could’ve ever imagined!

I’ll never stop thanking God for giving me these 4 years, these people, this college education, and these memories by no accident. 🥂

7th all time university of Iowa History. 13.4. 3 surgeries. 6 relays championships. 8 state titles. USA U20 top 10. And it ends on a random Wednesday with a hamstring injury…

My time as an athlete has been a rollercoaster of injuries, highlights, tears and thrills. It has been the longest relationship of my life and the one I will forever cherish. However, it’s time to walk away after fighting for it for as long as my body could. And with that…

A thank you to waukee for raising me in the sport, to northwest for making me realize I could do anything, and to Iowa, for fighting for me as I fought hard for you. Thanks to coaches: Duea (Jim and Ben), Pries, Douglas, Young, Brondyke, Chapman, Davis, Washington, Woody and a bunch more. Thanks to alllllll of my teammates whether we haven’t spoke since 8th grade track or my best friends at Iowa now. Without you I wouldn’t have found sm joy

And lastly. Thank you to my family and my dad. The most supportive, loving and cheering family I could have EVER asked for. Because of you I did the things I did, and because of you I feel so confident in my time ending. You were track and field. Your love got me here and I am so thankful to have you. Dad, we did it, not how we thought it’d go, but we did it.

Track and Field, you have been so loved. Thanks for it all❤️
