half way through//

The second half of sessions is always so much fun!

Getting in front of a camera can feel awkward at first. Especially if you’re doing it solo like in a senior session. That’s why I try to stick to natural/candid poses toward the beginning of your session. I try to show you the back of the camera to shoo away any self doubt and always always give you guidance and complements that hype you up.

As we get into the second half of the session clients are usually much more comfortable and realize taking pictures isn’t as scary as they thought it would be. This is the time when we pull out poses or concepts that might feel a little strange but you trust that it will totally be worth it.

We get to play and make art and I love it!!
