I had the pleasure of seeing My Chemical Romance while enjoying a $42 Budweiser not too long ago, unfortunately our home got foreclosed in the aftermath of the financial destitution Ticketmaster put us in but I still think it was worth it.

Unrelated but I recommend spinning "Destroy Pop Punk" from Sunrise Skater Kids' new album when you find the opportunity, it's probably one of my favorite songs on there.

Is "Pit Pontiff" the best new song from Friendworld? The new American Pope seems to think so. Not sure how he got his hands on a vinyl copy so early, but a fan is a fan.

Sunrise Skater Kids' 2nd full-length LP is out now for download and streaming. Keep your eyes out for some new lyric videos, and there might be a ✨contest✨ next week to win free merch. Until then, make sure you're subscribed to SSK's email list since I detest most forms of digital marketing and you'll legitimately be out of the loop until you do it.

FYI these images are what pops up when I context search "Christcore Jarrod" in my photos app. The last one is indeed me as Jesus in the Lifehouse Everything skit, a role which is legally mandated by the state of Tennessee for all well-behaved youth group boys.

Sunrise Skater Kids' new album FRIENDWORLD is out now everywhere for streaming/download 🍕

Pre-orders for vinyl records & CDs will END soon-ish, and if you don't buy one now you may NEVER be able to get one because I'm poor and we're only ordering the minimum amount from the manufacturer 💿

Big thanks to everyone who has jammed the album so far, especially those who have been around since FRIENDVILLE dropped 10 years ago, which is a totally reasonable amount of time to pass between releases. Is it superior to pretty much every pop punk LP the scene has put out since then? I really can't say, but yes 🤌

I'll put out some lyric videos in the near future, and I'm also working on new YouTube material. If you really want to stay in the loop you should subscribe via email 📨

Sunrise Skater Kids' new full-length album FRIENDWORLD is available now! Here's a sampler of all 10 tracks. Comment your favorite 🍕

Download the hi-res studio files from the @boketomedia merch store, or wait until this Friday (10/2) to add it on Spotify, Apple Music and every other platform 🎶

Pre-orders for limited run vinyl records and CDs end super soon - Reminder that we're only making what people order now, and it may be your only chance to ever get a copy. Should be ready to ship in early December, and all pre-orders come with an album download 💿

Special thanks to @foxchaseclay for vibrating his vocal chords and basically producing the entire album, @mikeoffall for screams on track 7, @joshmanuel for drums on track 1, @willcarlsonaudio for mixing/mastering the first batch of singles, Doug Andreasen for some additional guitar tracking, Dylan Anderson for horns on track 6, and all of you guys for tolerating a totally intentional 5-year-long album release rollout 🫪

You can now pre-save Sunrise Skater Kids' FRIENDWORLD on Spotify. The new album streams everywhere this Friday!

... Or, you can just download it TODAY since it came out over a week ago. Or do both. Your call. Yeah, do both.

This is literally unbelievable!! 🤯🤯🤯

Leave a comment with your favorite song from 'Friendworld' and don't forget to pre-order vinyl records and CDs before the window closes. All pre-orders include a FREE DOWNLOAD of the album, which gets sent the moment you place your order.

I've never released an album exclusively as a download, so there's been pretty much no feedback whatsoever. I've only ever dropped material via YouTube so the lack of immediate compliments/criticism has been a refreshing change of pace. Must've been what it was like putting out music in the 90s and prior. My dopamine receptors are healing.

Anyway, you'll get it all on Spotify and wherever else in October. Thanks for listening! 🍕

"Skabidi Toilet" is now available on Spotify, Apple Music and every other streaming platform. You can download the hi-res studio files for free at @boketomedia's store.

Sunrise Skater Kids fans have been pestering me for a ska punk parody for over 10 years now. This is it, and there is a high chance that you will regret listening. The lyrics are some of the worst sentences I've ever typed on a keyboard.

Special shout out to Dylan Anderson for recording real horns, and @foxchaseclay as always for being the most versatile producer of the 21st century. And to me for coming up with the psyllium husk lines.

The new album 'FRIENDWORLD' drops in just 3 days on September 21st, the last full day of summer. BUT, it's download-only. If you want to wait for it to pop up on Spotify like a chopped unc then you'll just be sitting there with your gyat out until October 👎👎👎

Surprise! New album NEXT WEEK 🍕

We promised a release in Summer 2026, and September 21st is the exact last full day of solar summer, which means we're totally astronomically on schedule (and definitely not rushing to get the last few songs mastered).

'Friendworld' will not be available on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music until October 2026. That's right, the official release will be download only. This is 5-dimensional music marketing and if you're a true believer you would give your money to me instead of your Epstein-affiliated music industry overlords.

We also just dropped the new single "Skabidi Toilet" via email to Sunrise Skater Kids' subscribers and merch connoisseurs. They've been jamming it since last week. Some of you have been pestering me to cook up a ska punk parody since 2015, and this is it. Definitely one of the worst things we've ever made. One lyric is literally "bussin' beer belly gyat." It also has real horns.

You can also pre-order a limited run vinyl record and/or CD right now on the merch store. We're pressing an amount just over the pre-order total to reduce waste/overstock, so this is probably your only chance to score a copy. Pre-orders close in a few weeks and we expect to ship copies by mid-December.

1. Still Posi
2. Featuring Travis Barker
3. Pit Pontiff
4. Slop
5. Homeless Millennial
6. Skabidi Toilet
7. Trigger Warning 2: Patriotic Boogaloo
8. Sen Bolo
9. Boybandin' Up
10. Destroy Pop Punk

We can't wait to share these songs with the world on September 21st, a day that is 100% astronomically within the season of summer a.k.a. our promised release window. I haven't posted in forever because at this point in my career I'd rather not bother people until I actually have something cool to show them. Also, I have two small children. Peace!

Sunrise Skater Kid's new full-length album 'FRIENDWORLD' drops SUMMER 2026 🍕

Today is the 10-year anniversary of SSK's debut album 'FRIENDVILLE', the greatest pop punk album ever released. Writing for this new album started long before the pandemic, and I've been accused of teasing an album that doesn't actually exist. Well, this is it. Writing top-tier bangers takes an extreme level of skill that you can't even begin to comprehend, which is why I had to write these songs at a rate of exactly 1 song per year. THAT is what it takes.

You can download the new single "Featuring Travis Barker" for FREE from the @boketomedia merch store. Will the single go up on streaming platforms like Spotify or Apple Music? Who knows. I need your raw email addresses on file since our tech overlords have ruined digital marketing and I loathe using these dumb social media platforms to promote my music. Maybe I'll leak the album early to everyone who downloads the single. This will be an extremely chaotic album rollout.

More album details and new songs will come out in the very near future. Until then, thanks for jamming with me all these years, and see you in THE GREATEST POP PUNK SUMMER EVER LET'S GO HYPE HYPE POP PUNK REVIVAL 2K26 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

"Sankara" featuring Canadian Softball is now streaming on YouTube ahead of the 12/14 drop for 'Columbarium' 🌍

Collaborating with Canadian Softball for an emo / math rock version of "Fortune & Glory, Kid" was really easy and required no negotiating whatsoever. I wonder why.

Arranged / Produced by Doug Andreasen
Mixed / Mastered by @foxchaseclay
