I didn’t know where to begin writing this.
About a year ago, the goal was simply to compete at Pans. After accomplishing that, the goal quickly became Worlds. Now, a couple weeks later, it’s still hard to believe.
Anyone who knew me 10 or even 5 years ago probably
wouldn’t have thought this was a realistic journey. It took a lot of sacrifice, pain, setbacks, and learning to believe in myself. Getting there was the real journey.
I’m incredibly grateful to my @championsjjmt family and all my training partners who believed in me and pushed me. Thank you to @fabinrosa for opening your doors to me and to everyone at the team for welcoming me and helping push me forward.
To my family, friends, and coworkers thank you for every sacrifice you made along the way. I know this journey didn’t just require sacrifices from me, and I’ll never take that for granted. To everyone who stood by me through the good, the bad, the pain, and the victories thank you.
I’m beyond grateful for this experience and for every person who helped me get here.

I love y’all.

Lōgōs HQ 2.0 officially opened its doors on March 1 to a packed house full of beautiful smiles, incredible jiu jitsu, and the most solid representation of community I've seen to date. If you were there, thank you for your good energy. If you weren't, come thru sometimes and see this amazing space. I don't have much else to say other than thank yall for everything. Especially all of the sweat and energy we didn't see that was put into making this a reality.

I've spent so many early mornings here in the past year and half (give or take), several times a week in the past three months especially. And most of those mornings the sun wasn't even up yet. This image here is one of the last photos I made at @logosbjjdenver after a morning practice when the sunlight finally drifted through the windows.

While this isn't the most classically sound photo, this one was made for myself. To capture the space off of the mats with morning light and with whomever happened to be in frame. Not every image is for the gram or for a book or for a gallery. Some images are just for me. Just to capture a moment I can remember later.

So long Logos on RiNo! And thank you.
