In the past I’ve allowed fear to hold me back!

Oh I missed out on so many opportunities!!

I allowed imposter syndrome to get the best of me and I saw people executing ideas that I knew I would do 100 times better with.

This year I told myself that i had had enough and it was time to choose me. And that is the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.

I started taking more risks. I started living life on my own terms.

At the end of the day, I ask myself one simple question:

WHATS THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN?

There was a time when this life felt so far away.

Now, I get to stand here, watch the sunset in Italy, and quietly thank God for the things I once only dreamed of.

This is what answered prayers can look like……
One day, the things you pray for become the life you live.

May you never get so used to your blessings that you forget they were once your prayers. ❤️

One of the biggest lessons turning 40 has taught me is that you can be proud of how far you’ve come and still want more for yourself.

Honestly for the longest time, I thought certain ages came with certain expectations. By this age, I should have achieved this. By that age, I should have figured that out. I should be further ahead, more settled, more certain.

But life doesn’t always follow the timeline we imagined.

And honestly? I’m learning to give myself grace.

I can celebrate the woman I’ve become without pretending I have everything figured out. I can be grateful for my journey and still desire growth. I can acknowledge my progress without putting pressure on myself to have arrived.

Turning 40 isn’t a deadline for having life sorted. It’s an opportunity to become more intentional about the life I’m living.

I’m not starting over. I’m resetting. I’m learning, unlearning, rebuilding and giving myself permission to evolve without shame.

Because maybe the goal isn’t to have everything figured out.

Maybe the goal is to stop abandoning yourself while you’re figuring it out.

Girl to girl, please stop measuring your life against deadlines you created in your head. You are allowed to be a work in progress at any age.

My biggest take home is……..

To every woman reading this tonight: believe in yourself again. 🤍
Believe in the woman you are becoming, even when you can’t see the full picture yet. Believe in your ability to rebuild, to learn, to start again, to do the things that once scared you.
And above all, believe in God.

You don’t have to know exactly how everything will work out. You just need to trust that God can take what looks impossible, make a way where you can’t see one, and give you the strength to walk through it.
You are more capable than you think.
You are stronger than this season.
You are not too late.
You are not disqualified.
And you are not walking alone.
Keep going. Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep showing up.
There is still so much ahead of you.
