This week was a BIG moment for our community 🥹🏆

Jamii was nominated in the Sports category at the @bisouawards , Belgium’s influencer awards, and Tafara, @tino_chibebe and @chriiistell , were there to represent all of us 🎾

Did we bring home the award? Unfortunately not 😂 But honestly, just being in that room was already a win.

We learned so much, made exciting new connections, and met people who already knew about Jamii and can’t wait to come play with us. So don’t be surprised if you spot a few familiar faces at our next socials 👀

But here’s what we really want to say:

To everyone who bought a ticket, brought a friend, tried padel for the first time, came back for another session or simply spread the word. Without you, there’s no community. Without you, there’s no Jamii.
This nomination belongs to all of us. What started with a few people playing padel is becoming something much bigger 🥹

Becoming an Athlete | S1 E2: A Lesson Learned 🎾

After skipping every workout and every padel session, Tafara finally made it outside. 🥳

He tried to steal a few lessons… and ended up being taught one. 😏

But listen, he’s outside. He’s on the court. He’s missing balls. He’s not fit. But he showed up, and that has to count for something.

Meet the people behind Jamii. ✨

The ones replying to your messages, welcoming you at the courts, organising the games, fixing the last-minute chaos, and making sure no one stands alone for long. 🎾

Most people think they’re joining a padel community.

What they don’t realise is they’re joining a group of people who genuinely want them there. The sport brings us together. The people are why we keep coming back. 🫂

Every event, every laugh, every introduction, every “see you next time” starts with someone choosing to show up for others.

This team does that week after week. 🫡

So today, we’re putting the spotlight where it belongs.
