Our next senior spotlight is Senior Chris Eggering!

Chris has been a key part of St. Dominic baseball, starting at catcher for the past two seasons. His work ethic stands out, always staying after practice to put in extra time at the plate. This year, he battled through injuries and adversity while continuing to compete at a high level. Chris brought constant energy and was one of the loudest voices on the team. His leadership and presence will be greatly missed. Chris will continue his baseball career at McKendree University, and we wish him the best in everything ahead!

Dear baseball, ever since I can remember baseball has always been an escape from reality for me, a place where I can relax and have fun. Thanks to all of the coaches and mentors along my journey and have inspired me to go big or go home. Thank you to the brotherhood that I have had throughout my 13 years of playing. I will forever cherish the memories I have made while playing. Most importantly baseball has taught me life lessons over teamwork, responsibility, and personal growth. Thank you baseball ❤️ #12 out.
