MEChA de MSJC — Baila Conmigo Ballet Folklorico team💃🏽🕺🏽

I had the beautiful opportunity to be with our MEChistAs at FolkFest in Pomona 2 weeks ago and my corazón was FULL. ❤️

There is something so powerful about being in community with Raza and witnessing our beautiful cultura come alive through danza, with different regions, traditions, música, colors, and stories all represented through movement.

I continue to be in awe of my students....borrowing dresses because we simply don't have the funds for our own. But that doesn't stop them. They want to dance. They want to learn. They want to represent their cultura. And I will continue to support them while we fundraise whenever we can, with the hope that one day we can have our own beautiful dresses for our dancers. ❤️ thank you to the Fallbrook team for always letting them borrow dresses! 🥹🥺🥺

Chris, I am so proud of you. Not only for dancing, but for stepping up as a capitán, helping everyone learn and encouraging your compañeros. That night, you danced through the recent loss of your brother. I know he was there with you in spirit, watching you kill it on that dance floor.🕊️

Michael, thank you for being our other capitán—encouraging everyone, teaching the footwork, and helping our dancers find their confidence and rhythm. Your leadership means so much.

And to all my students, you are studying, working, balancing life, and still finding time to show your passion through dance and your cultura. I am SO proud of you all!

And of course, gracias to our students, familias, and friends who came out to support our dancers. Your presence means everything. Gracias, gracias, gracias!

Bella Army, we have unfortunately lost a member of our family. 🕊️ It is with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news that Manuel Perez, a beloved Bella Twins fan and member of the Bella Army, passed away on September 16, 2026, at just 20 years old.

Manny was a true fighter and a hero. Manny was so much more than his battle with cancer. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. Most importantly, he was a deeply loved son to his parents, who are now facing an unimaginable loss. Our deepest condolences go out to Manny’s family and everyone who loved him. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. May you find comfort in the beautiful memories you shared with Manny. 🕊️❤️

My condolences go out to @chris.j_395 and his family in this very tough time like I said in the video Manuel was a very strong individual and he fought with every ounce that he could, and unfortunately he did pass away, but it’s OK because now he does not have to fight anymore he can roam free with no pain or suffering anymore while still staying fearless doing it we all love you, Manuel and we’re all gonna miss you, bud rip 🕊️💚 #stayfearlessmanuel
