🎤✨ I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S BEEN ONE YEAR SINCE MY TEDx TALK! ❤️ One year ago, I stepped outside my comfort zone and chose to DO IT SCARED! Today, my TEDx talk has reached 349,000 views and counting! I’m beyond grateful that my message continues to reach and inspire others. 💜 Thank you to my family, friends, my amazing coach Allison, and Chris&Jami Lah, and all the other talented TED x Speakers I met that day and the wonderful people I met in Cincinnati. You made this journey unforgettable! After fighting for my life in the hospital, I knew I wanted to share a message of hope and resilience. It’s not about the stage or the views. My TEDxSemesterAtSea Talk is finally live! ❌❤️ One conversation can change the way we see the world. During Semester at Sea’s Spring 2026 Voyage 137, I had the opportunity to share a message that is deeply personal to me and reflects my experiences growing up in Mozambique and traveling the world. Meet the TEDxSemesterAtSea Production Team! Behind every TEDx talk is an incredible team brought together to bring these ideas to life. During our Spring 2026 Voyage 137 TEDxSemesterAtSea, our core production team was made up of a group of amazing students, Staculty, and Lifelong Learners. This wasn’t just about putting an event together, but building a production that encouraged learning. Our production team gained experience in: • Event production • Speaker coaching • Marketing • Social media • Photography • Videography • Storytelling • Communications • Leadership • Team collaboration The work didn’t stop with our core team, more than 50 volunteers from across the voyage generously gave their time, talents, and energy to help make TED×SemesterAtSea possible! Together, they created an unforgettable experience for approximately 600 attendees. And helped put together a collection of ideas that will soon be shared around the world. Every student, Staculty member, Lifelong Learner, and volunteer, thank you! You didn’t just help produce an event.
