BTS of Precious Light 💡

This was not only a set dec heavy project (s/o @statesupplyprops for the hampers of books) but also had multiple builds. Over the course of 3 days we needed to erect 2 builds that went from floor to ceiling and wall to wall, while also being about to access the space behind them, withstand hammering some large holes and be completely torn down and wrapped. Note that we were over an hour from the nearest Lowe’s or Home Depot and had to prep site unseen. Somehow @olonoffdavid and I pulled this off and I couldn’t be more helpful for the loads drywall and 2x4s that he carried up and down flights of stairs. 🔨

@nickonchemati had a crazy story to bring to life and captured an insanely surrealist world that pushed us to think outside the box 🫐

And of course, @matthewcanada was kind enough to recommend me and continues to be one of my favorite collaborators…more projects to come from the two of us!

Swipe to the end to see what strong fishing line can help you achieve! 🪑

Chicago Marathon 2025!!! 🏃‍♀️🏅

At risk of sounding insufferable: my biggest goal was to enjoy this race and this day, and somewhere between the nerves and pain and exhaustion, I managed to do just that and even made it across the finish line with an actual smile on my face.

Shoutout to Chicago’s spectators (a close second to NYC’s), to the hilarious signs and all the cheers and encouragement and snacks along the way, and to this sign I saw around mile 20: “The day will come when you cannot run 26.2 miles. Today is not that day.”

Agatha Christie's 'THE MOUSETRAP' @sharonplayhouse, FALL 2025.

What a journey it has been being back on the stage with this talented group of theatermakers and creatives. Live performance allows us to share a collective experience in real time, being transported into an 'imaginary' reality. All culminating into a powerful and transitory event that, when executed with truth and passion as this project was, leaves a lasting impression. Cheers to all family and friends that came to support me and this kick ass group of people.

Until next time. See you at the theater.
