A stellar event for the Austin Carmmunity put on by @toyboxtexas and @sunshineimports.us - We wouldn’t have our Kei Truck without these guys. And it’s so cool they’re giving us reasons to gather together.

We did a casual vintage arcade pop-up but the highlight was just catching up with some regular friends and seeing new faces. Austin is always proving how open and welcome it is… and this is just another example. No better car community exists!

One of the first chances I had to hear live #music after #covid started to calm down, was a #highschool #mariachi group in #elpasotexas

I was moved by the passion in the music. I have always loved Mariachis. And though I am not a fluent speaker of #spanish, I appreciate the themes of love and loss in the Mariachi songs.

One thing I learned during covid was that hiring mariachis for mother's day is a big tradition. And a lot of people couldn't do so during that time.

Last night, we happened upon a family who paid the Mariachis in #Garibaldi to play for their mother/grandmother. I was moved to tears. I have rarely seen a more beautiful gesture.

I ate at one of the "best restaurants in the world" this week. I met many cool #chilangos . I drank wine as old as me. And I spent great time with some of my best friends.

But I'm still incredibly moved by this scene. It will stay with me forever. I'm rushing to finish this post before my plane takes off, all while holding back tears.

This may have been the best birthday yet. And I believe it will only get better. One day I hope to have mariachis play for me in my golden years...

Thank you for supporting our first ever #LemonadeStand #LakewayTx! We had a great time serving our local community ice cold lemonade served with fresh fruit and more. We even had our cousins and neighbors join the fun. #Lemonade #Summer #summertime #kids #entrepreneurship
