To paraphrase @jamesmaybloke … I hope I’ve brought you a little bit of happiness in 2024.

I announced @easternstatescup DH races with @jdpianot and took pictures of people on bikes.

Thank you for enduring my race commentary, and for supporting my photography. Both are labors of love.

Here’s to 2025!

@easternstatescup @intensecycles DH3 in the books!👌INCREDIBLE weather despite positively horrid conditions the day before and an iffy Sunday forecast. Fantastic racing, amazing people and I hope the unlucky rider who ate💩at the finish line is okay. I spoke briefly to his mom, she seems to think that he was. See you all at Thunder!🎤🔥😎

Usually I’m always posting my photography on my page but my first passion is Graphic Design. I’ve been in school for the last 5 years studying and I’m about to achieve my BFA in graphic design. My first 2 years in school was at @northshorecc where I achieved my associates in graphic design print and I’m happy to announce my three years at @umassd have come to an end.

This is my capstone project where I focused on mixing my two passions, graphic design & photography. I based my projects off of real events that I’ve attended and used only my own photography in their designs. These are mock designs but are for sale for those who run these events

Car posters:
As you have seen on this page one of my favorite things to photograph is in the automotive niche. These posters were made for promotion used for @importevolution @importfaceoffofficial @stanceinn and @bngrz .

Mountain Bike posters:
These posters feature the 2024 season line up for Downhill, Eduro and E-Bike races hosted by @easternstatescup . I’ve posted a lot of my travels on these races so I had lots of options to make some really nice posters.

Brochures:
Also made for @easternstatescup these brochures are for the spectators / family’s who come to the races. As someone who was new to the sport I thought this guide would be helpful for those new as well attending the races. They give info like schedules / do’s and don’t and trail safely as a spectator.

Photo book:
By far the largest part of the project this photo book is 60 pages of a BTS with @ljm_images_ of our journey following the 2023 @easternstatescup races. Inside includes information on the mountain we were at / history of the area and little snippets from each race.

This semester long project was really fun to put together and is featured on my website at destinerickson.com. If you would like to see the full book as well as a closer look at the brochure. Thank you to all of these events for media passes and experiences!
