I tend to have a lot of “different” ideas. The kind where most people kinda look at you like… yeah, okay dude.
For most of my life, that got in my head. I stopped putting things out there because I hated feeling like the odd one out.
But I’m realizing I was wrong about that. I’m not an outlier, I just hadn’t found my people yet.
So I started sharing the ideas anyway.
The first time I hiked a mountain with a sandbag I remember thinking, this is kinda awesome, kinda dumb, but mostly awesome. I knew I wanted others to feel what I felt out there.
So I picked a trail, time and day and told a bunch of people. Some laughed. A bunch couldn’t make it.
15 showed up.
This past weekend we did this ridiculous thing together. It was hard, kinda silly, but at the top people got that feeling I did when I first went by myself.
Now we’re already talking about the next one.
I don’t know… I think I’m just starting to trust that the more I put this stuff out there, the more I’ll find the people who are into it too, which is good news for me, because doing things like this with like minded people is what makes me feel most alive.

2025 showed us what’s possible.

What happens when people commit, not to hype, but to habits. To becoming capable of more than they imagine.

2025 in review! This has been such an important and experience-filled year. I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph an incredible display of sports and events, but think I’m starting to find my niche in triathlon.

After freelancing two Ironman events and going on to cover @ironmanamericas socials for four more events, I’ve certainly had my fair share of watching triathlons instead of doing them myself. I wouldn’t have it anything other way. I’ve loved every step of the process and can’t wait to cover more in 2026.

A special thank you to everyone who has promoted my work and allowed me to work with them and get my content out there. It’s helped me grow as a photographer and as a professional. There are too many people to list who have helped me this year but all of your support has meant the world to me! Thank you again and on to 2026!

The end of an incredible era. A journey unmatched in the triathlon sport.
It is with immense gratitude that we reflect on 13 magnificent seasons as our partnership with @ride_bmc will come to a close at the end of the year. A journey that started in 2013 when BMC came on board as bike partner of the then still Belgian only Uplace Pro Triathlon Team. It was the start of an incredible cooperation. Since the launch of the international team in 2014 the results have been outstanding with the team winning over 150 races and finishing on the podium in more then 300 of them, including the Ironman World Title in 2022, the 2025 & 2021 World Title Long Distance Triathlon, the 2025 Vice-World Title WTCS, a bronze medal at last year’s Paris Olympics, the PTO European Open Championship in 2023, 11 continental championship titles, 5 Vice-World Championship titles and victories in the most prestigious races on the calendar including Challenge Roth, Ironman Frankfurt, Lanzarote, Nice, Texas, Melbourne, Zurich and the list goes on. Achievements that have only been possible thanks to the impeccable support from BMC all those years. Our team would never have developed into the team we are today without the vision, continued believe and top professional support of everyone involved at BMC. As we go separate ways, we continue as friends, with the upmost gratitude for the journey we achieved together.

The end of an era, but our journey continues. Stay tuned for the next chapter in our legacy.

Every season gives us champions.
Every era eventually gives us goodbyes.

In 2025, some of the sport’s most accomplished athletes — Olympians, world champions, and relentless professionals — crossed the line one final time.

Medals fade. Results get archived.
But the sacrifices, the risks taken, the years spent chasing perfection — those never disappear.

Thank you for giving this sport your primes, your courage, and your belief that limits were meant to be challenged.
You didn’t just race triathlon — you shaped it.

Good times at the @westlinewinder! Managed to come away with the🥇in the 30k and had the opportunity to celebrate with friends by having a few brews at the finish🍻. Off to California for @kodiak_ultramarathons 100k next week to close out the season. It’s been a blast 🚀
