This patient came after 13 months of ACL and meniscus reconstruction. He was cleared for sports. Do you agree???
Are hop tests valuable in rehab settings??

This is @tanoulic “riding” the “Force-Velocity” curve.

Even if you think you are watching only 1 exercise, in reality you are watching 2 different ones.. or training 2 different qualities at least..

Making complex scientific meanings simple..or long story short..

The heavier the exercise is, the slower the athlete moves aiming for maximum strength..

The lighter the exercise is, the faster the athlete moves aiming for speed-strength and maximum velocity …

In this case, we are working with a flywheel machine that is not based on moving a fixed mass against gravity but on the weight, number ,acceleration and deceleration of the flywheel or in other words, inertia..

This “rotational” energy , makes it the Wankle rotary machine we love and admire ( like the iconic Mazda RX-8 for all the motorheads out there..)

Main differences from traditional WT is the eccentric overload, the constant tension across the movement and a better PAPE (post activation potential enhancement).
