7.17.2025 Our whole world changed for good. ♥️

To get a little more personal than usual on here - A year ago, I went through a difficult pregnancy loss that left me questioning a lot of things: my body, my mind, my readiness to be a parent.

Despite my doubts, Chris and I were blessed once again - and just like that - our Elodie Reine “하나” came to us healthy, with chubby cheeks and a whole lotta hair!

I’ve read all the cliches about motherhood, about instant love, about how nothing prepares you for the way your axis tilts overnight. And I used to think those lines were overused (maybe even a little performative? haha)

But now I sit here overwhelmed at how true all of it is, and SO much more. It is simply impossible for me to put into words how grateful and present I feel, like… I can’t believe this is my life. I can’t believe Chris and I get to be her parents!

And with all the support and love around me, I’m so thankful I just get to soak all of this in. This is the season I didn’t know I was waiting for, and now that I’m here, I don’t want to take any second of it for granted. 🥹

Did we get married already….!? Hahah no, not yet - this is from a surprise engagement shoot that @chriscarm & @natcarmike set up the day after the proposal 🍾

In an excited panic, I ran to a boutique to pick out a few dresses and slapped on some cheap press-ons from a drugstore right before the shoot!

BUT this might as well have been our WEDDING because @nadiahungco is 🪄MAGIC and she elevated capturing a special moment in our relationship to a whole. other. level. !!! 🤯

12 days of roadtripping through 5 ski slopes across PNW and Alberta 🏔️ Got to soak in the Canadian Rockies in our backyard as we camped out of our trailer in the frigid cold. Such a small space to live out of but somehow was made to feel a whole lot bigger when all the people you love (Wonder included 🐶) gathered in it 🥹❤️
