40 joints of ups & downs, Ls & Ws as blessings, & lessons,

To anyone whoever stoled from me, crossed me, disappointed me, or intentionally or unintentionally tried to hurt me, & to those who at some point tried to finish me, man you almost tricked me out of freedom, & it was easy for me to handle it in egotistical, & strategical ways, it took a lot of strength for me not to, so I’m grateful I didn’t.

To the women who let me down, the people who changed on me, & the situations that made me put my great wall of china guard up, to become distant, I take full accountability for the ways those experiences might of made me move differently. Maybe I stopped caring in certain ways. Maybe I became more inconsiderate than I should’ve been. I own it.

Today I want to move forward, & choose forgiveness.
I forgive you all, and most importantly, I forgive myself. Sometimes you have to be built, in order to let go, so you’re able to grow.

I won’t forget the lessons, because every experience, good or bad played a part in making me who I am today. Some things taught me how to LOVE differently. Some taught me how to MOVE differently. Some taught me that protecting my PEACE sometimes means keeping my DISTANCE.

40 years in, & for that alone, I’m grateful.

Grateful for the people who stayed. Grateful for the people who walked away. Grateful for the moments that broke me down enough to rebuild me. Been through some pain that I don’t show you all, but I want you all to know, IM STILL HERE. 1OO
