And because apparently we didn’t already pack enough into one day… 😂 LET’S KEEP GOING.

Kicking us off: DJ JJ ALAMO @jj_alamo_ 🎶

Then between bands, DJ Alamo is keeping us going while our good pal, and incredible artist Chris Crites @chriscritesbagpainter hosts you in a super cool hands-on art project — and YES, you get to take home your very own Bizzarro Guy. 🖤

Then DJ TRICKBAG RECORD PARTY @trickbagrecordparty takes over and gets us good + ready for THE LITTLE RICHARDS to blow the roof off the street. 🔥

AND DON’T FORGET THE RAFFLE!!!

We have prizes ranging from “A Bag of Dicks” 😂 to a personal sound bath and pretty much everything you can imagine in between.

Seriously. This lineup is OUT OF CONTROL.

We’re closing down the street and turning it up to 11.
Sunday. 1–8.
Come early. Stay late. Buckle up.

LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOO!!! 🙌🔥🕺

Huge thanks to our friend Chris Crites @chriscritesbagpainter for creating the absolute BEST poster for our 40th Birthday Party! 💜

Mark your calendars for August 23—the lineup is absolutely out of control, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

We’re still looking for a few amazing craft vendors/makers! Hit me up here or email Jaedra@BizzarroItalianCafe.com if you’d like to join the party. 🎉

Sunday SIFF movie outing! I heard about this on NPR a few months ago and couldn’t wait to see it. My parents would take my brother and I to the one in Hollywood when we were little and I have great stories. See it when you can!🌸🌺

Since 2001, a group of fifteen rotating print artists have been mailing one another handmade postcards monthly. Join us for an afternoon with @pcxchange members as we explore the commitment and the joy of participating in a long-term recreational art project. A hands-on postcard activity will follow the discussion.

Part of Community Print’s monthly Shop Talk series running through May 2026. These talks are free, but donations for the presenters are accepted. #mailartist #penpals #sendmoremail #postcardexchange #postcards

What a fun time last night at @ghostgallery! Huge thanks to Laurie for allowing me to grace her lovely blue walls with my work. I just wish we’d gotten a pic together! But here’s a few others with some of the kindest folks around - sorry I missed some (Jocelyne and Barbara and Hernan!).

There was a better than expected turnout considering everything was happening in town all at once last night. Yoona took the pics of me and Catherine, and she’s the masked beauty I’m with in pic 4. Here’s Chris and Natania, my big bro and sis-in-law, Suze and Steve, and my bud Rich. So good to be out in the world sharing time and good energy.

I’d love to plan a pizza party at the gallery with Laurie for later in the month. Not sure how we’ll make it work, but stay tuned!

The work is up all month, so please plan a visit and take in all the good stuff (there’s so much!) at Ghost this October. And take something home!

Had 2 wonderful groups at my studio last weekend! My surprise when watching the new monster series about Ed Gein when they show him explaining how tufting works after he was caught and living in a psychiatric hospital. I guess he had to find a new hobby since he couldn’t do his anymore. Moral of the story is we all need to do more arts so we don’t have psychotic breaks! I’ll be teaching more workshops in the spring next year at my studio. I do have a few spots left in my November wildcraft workshop this year. Thanks to all the amazing artist that came and made work in my studio! Scroll to see some the work I remembered to take photos of.
