POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I watched the film "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" yesterday. I really liked it! Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a slick, stylish, and suspenseful horror film filled with brutal thrills, and humorous self-aware wit, likable characters, and a poignant heart.

The really good script by Chris Thomas Devlin(story by Fede Alvarez, Rodo Sayagues and based on characters created by Kim Henkel and Tobe Hooper) tells a unsettling story about new beginnings, trauma, family, friendship, influencer culture, and survival.

Elsie Fisher leads a great ensemble cast that includes Sarah Yarkin, Jacob Latimore, Moe Dunford, Olwen Fouéré, Nell Hudson, Jessica Allain, Alice Krige, William Hope, and a terrifying Mark Burnham.

The cinematography is superb by Ricardo Diaz and it is accompanied by an awesome soundtrack and score by Colin Stetson. It's well-edited by Christopher S. Capp and it has some cool effects, costume design(Olga Mekikcheiva), set decoration(Joey Ostrander), art direction(Kes Bonnet & Tsvetoslav Yordanov) , and production design(Michael Perry). David Blue Garcia did a spectacular job directing this exciting, gory, and fun horror film that I would recommend.

One of the many highlights of last week's HorrorFest International Film Festival was hanging with these fine gentlemen. Chris Thomas Devlin is the screenwriter behind THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (2022) and COBWEB (2023). Writer/director Raymond Creamer's movie GOODY GOODY is currently featured on the SHUDDER network. Both of these guys are talented and knowledgeable. Check out their films!
