Football has been a part of my life since second grade, and it’s hard to believe that I just played my last game. From being a little kid putting on pads for the first time to growing up and giving everything I had on that field, football has taught me so much more than just how to play a game. It taught me discipline, hard work, brotherhood, and how to keep pushing even when things get tough. The memories, the teammates who became family, the wins, the losses, and all the moments in between will stay with me forever. It’s hard knowing that something that’s been such a big part of my life for so long is coming to an end, but I’m forever grateful for every opportunity, every lesson, and every person who was part of this journey. No matter where life takes me next, a part of me will always be on that field. i want to thank my coaches and this whole organization for having trust in me when i didn’t trust myself. thank you west high for everything.
