You’ve heard of Africa’s Big 5… but have you met Ningaloo’s? 🩵 From the biggest fish in the sea to the most graceful reef cruisers, these marine icons are what Ningaloo dreams are made of. The best part? You can encounter them all right here along @westernaustralia’s Coral Coast, no binoculars required (but they may help 😉). Swipe to meet the locals.

Which one are you hoping to spot next?

Today is world tourism day 🌎 and to celebrate here is a whale shark from the Ningaloo coast! How magical is our own backyard?

Travel has been back this year and everyone’s excited! Near, far and everything in between - where would ( or have you been) you go first?

Some of our staff and lots of our clients have made trips big or small all over the state and globe recently to reconnect with family, friends and favourite places 💖

With school holidays and nicer weather coming up don’t forget that if your booking a trip and want to pause your membership to contact the office as part of your checklist 😌
we need:
- at least 7 days notice to the office info@pilatescentrewa.com.au before you next membership payment
- a minimum of 2 weeks in length for the pause.

HAPPY WHALE SHARK DAY.

Started in 2012, International Whale Shark Day celebrates these gentle giants.

International Whale Shark Day has been designed so that we can celebrate and increase awareness about these amazing sea-dwelling creatures. We need to protect and conserve the whale shark, as their numbers are declining. These gentle giants fascinate aquatic enthusiasts and marine biologists alike, yet it is up to us to make sure that their numbers increase and their futures are protected. This is what International Whale Shark Day is all about.

Did you know that the sex of a sea turtle is determined by temperature?🌡️🌞

Turtles lay their eggs on sandy beaches, and it is the temperature of the sand surrounding the nest that influences the sex ratio of hatchlings♂️♀️

Cooler incubation temperatures will lead to male hatchlings, and warmer temperatures lead to females. When the temperature of the sand fluctuates, it will lead to a clutch of mixed sex hatchlings 🌞

Scientists have already discovered that climate change is shifting the sex ratio of green turtle populations, with warmer temperatures increasing the dominance of female hatchlings 🐢
