We’re returning to @thenodesthlm on July 23rd!!❤️

Last year we celebrated the release of my debut album Cycles at The Node, and honestly, it’s still one of my favorite venues in Stockholm. The atmosphere, the people, and the warmth you feel there make it a very special place.

I love the Avicii tribute as well, seeing Tim’s presence honored throughout the space makes it feel even more meaningful💕

We met with the Thornberg band in a place I didn’t know: The Nomad. A stage set up in the inner courtyard of a building in the heart of Stockholm, facing the restaurant’s tables.

I like to spend a little time at the place before I start shooting.
I soak up the atmosphere, look for spots that will allow me to create unique images, and find objects that will help me structure the image and the light.

Nothing is planned, but everything comes together fairly quickly. I then become part of the place; I move around, but no one pays any attention to what I’m doing. I’m nothing more than a particle of the atmosphere that resonates.
I can craft my images based on the light, the songs, the melodies, and the poses of my subjects. ©️Didier Bianco #Sweden#Stockholm#Music#Thornberg#Onstage#Camera#Nikon#Nikonplaza#DidierBiancophotographer

I’ve been thinking a lot about whether to write this.

The truth is, I’ve been feeling burnt out for a while.

Not because I stopped loving music. If anything, I think I love it too much.

But somewhere along the way, creating started feeling less like soul expression and more like pressure. Pressure to always release. Always promote. Always respond. Always stay visible. Always turn moments into content. Always chase the next opportunity before even having time to feel the last one.

And I think I lost something in that.

I’ve spent years pouring everything I have into music, energy, time, emotions, relationships, money, dreams. And I’m proud of what I’ve created. But I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t come at a cost.

Lately I’ve realized I’ve been carrying this feeling that nothing is ever enough.

A good release? What’s next.
A good stream count? Why not more.
A great show? Move on.

And eventually you forget why you started.

I miss the feeling I had in the beginning. Sitting with a guitar. Writing because I had something to say, not because I had something to prove.

I think I’m just trying to find my way back to making music from love instead of survival.

And honestly, I think that version of me will make better art anyway.

Thank you for being here❤️

We’re getting there!

Next show at Nomad (@nomadsthlm) on June 12, and on the same day the new single ”Second Chance” drops🌟

It’s a song about how some mistakes don’t get a second chance

People see a moment.
They don’t see the years it took to get there.

The battles, the setbacks, the doubts, the things you had to overcome just to keep moving.

This song is called ”You Don’t Know Me.”✨
