When @chasingghosts announced their final show, I wanted to be there, but I thought realistically it wouldn't be possible. I was feeling disappointed but I sat on the couch with Jake and said "it's okay. It's not the end of the world." A moment later my phone chimed with flight details. Although Jake would have loved to be there, he couldn't let me miss out on the last show of a band who has had such a profound impact on my life for 15 years.

To meet Jimmy is to make a friend for life, I hope you know just how significant you are, and that every show, every chat, every shared stage has meant the world to me.

Chasing Ghosts is a brilliant band of awesome people who I really love and admire.

Thank you @dadscookt for my solo mum trip, it was epic. I didn't even cry (blatant lie, I cried almost constantly)

So a lot of people are wondering how I managed to score the @chasingghosts stage backdrop and it's not the most ethical method but short answer, you'd be surprised what a bass guitarist who's recently unemployed will trade for a beer 😂

But the real answer is although it did cost me a beer, I was met with gratitude and appreciation for even asking for it in the first place cause that's who the chasing ghosts boys are as people.

I had been dreading this day since they announced they will be going on indefinite hiatus and it's been the most bittersweet experience, chasing ghosts, but more specifically Jimmy Kyle himself has been the single most influential and longest standing constant in my life and although he isn't going anywhere, I can't remember a life without chasing ghosts and to be honest it scares the hell out of me to think about it.

I do genuinely wish all the boys and their families all the best on the next adventures, i will forever be grateful for this journey and the people I've met along the way, the world is a better place with you lot in it 🖤

I love you all wholeheartedly my bros 🖤

.
I speak with my friend @chrisoneillffa of @chasingghosts and various other very interesting industry pursuits. We talk burnout, mental health, and trying to balance your integrity while making a buck.🎸
.
He also played keys etc on this week’s track ‘I don’t know why I’m angry all the time’, and went full pure imagination on it. It’s a beautiful performance, I cried the first time I listened to it.⚡️

It’s hard to put into words just how special the Therapy tour was. To all those who were a part of this adventure; the old friends, the new friends, the venues and management and promo teams, the photographers, the tireless FOH engineers, and the best tour group we could ever ask for…thank you. Massive thank you to @creative.australia none of this would have been possible without their support! 🖤💛❤️
