What I loved most about working with Chloe was her ease and uniqueness. Her inspiration photos varied from pale to deep palates, but the element that was consistent in all of her images was texture. When she confirmed she was open to a late summer palate with various types of texture I knew this was the right direction.

I absolutely love collaborating with my clients and creating new concepts specifically for them 🖤

What is so great about styled shoots is it gives you the opportunity to experiment with palates you’ve always dreamed of creating. This design is just that! This sorbet, apricot and toffee (umm, yum?) was a complete dream to create!

I can’t believe it’s been almost two weeks since we got back. This first post is a much needed Thank you and appreciation post to all the amazing citychurch team, the amazing Empower team and most importantly all of the amazing people who made this trip possible. We couldn’t have done it with out all of you. My heart is fuller because of all of you. Thank you for your support, your prayers and words of encouragement. This trip was such an amazing opportunity to see all of the good work that God is doing all over the world and to learn how each one of us can play a big part in it as well. “Those who are loved by God, let his love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Everyone who loves is fathered by God and experiences an intimate knowledge of him.”

Today is my BIRTHDAY! I could tell you that this has been the best year of my life, because it has. I could talk about my successes. I could talk about my failures, you know for perspective. I could talk about my goals for next year, for the future.

But I want to talk about the people who have become like my family. People that I've laughed with. People that I've cried with. People that know a whole lot about me and what I've been through. People that I traveled to the other side of the world with to show kids in orphanages, schools and villages a little love.

I want talk about the kids and Thailand and Myanmar that will never know the extent of the impact that they've had on my life. On my perspective. I want to talk about playing games with them. Giving shoes to them. And how I don't need to speak their language because we all speak love and that is the universal language!
