It took me what felt like 84 years to put out my debut album.

Hi I’m SARAS 👋🏼 and I’ve been releasing music since 2019 but you’ve probably never heard of me and that’s okay. Heres why….

This little bug loved to sing. Almost every home movie I’ve seen has me singing a song, either made up by me or sung by a DIVA. I was belting my heart out at all hours before I was any good. And then I got GOOD and it’s all anyone could do to get me to stop. Every choir, every musical, studio experience, I soaked up it all and drowned my ears in music to avoid my own mind and find beautiful things to replace it with. I went to college for musical theatre but it wasn’t a forever, just a pit stop. Learned a lot, busted my ankle, and started to pick through the wounds that held my stage fright and disassociations rooted in place.

The transition from “person with a dream” to “professional in the making” has to start somewhere and where I started was Los Angeles. I finished writing my very first songs there - I started collaborating with other people. I found out how much I didn’t know at all. So I looked for more guidance and found it at @limpimusic. This picture is from our first song review night and I remember that night so clearly…girl didn’t even know how to hold a microphone right yet!!!! And then the whole year was over as fast as it began and we were all off to the real world! Still hated myself but a little less than before and you know…gotta start somewhere. Ready to write the world’s biggest songs, suddenly I was flying off to London for writing trips, sending email after email to A&Rs, following every lead hoping to find someone saying YES WE SEE YOU YES WE BELIEVE IN YOU. Believe me when I say they did not.

2022 hit me like a piano in an old cartoon. I was buckling under the weight of financial debt, two big relationships in my life were no more in traumatic fashion, and suddenly I was back in Los Angeles with my cute little debut EP, zero prospects, a crippled nervous system, and a dying love for the industry. So I dug in and I picked up the jobs that I told myself I was done with forever — nannying, retail, food worker, kids’ soccer coach, the list goes on. I was

It is with immense pride and gratitude, I give you ‘Life Can Still Be Sweet’ my sophomore record, out everywhere today.

We’ve got heartbreak, lust, roommate drama, a parent getting sick, friend breakups, breakup breakups, three part harmony, Wurlitzer, Hammond B3, guitars, synths, drum machines, a whole lot of heart and soul, a little twang to make the soup just right! 🩵

I’m so grateful to be able to do what I love in this lifetime. There is no greater joy. THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!

My new single “Till The End” is out now 🖤

I found myself stuck in a love I didn’t truly love. I wanted something more — and I hated myself for wanting it, because there was nothing wrong with the person I was with. I just couldn’t be who I was around them anymore. I had to leave. They were never the one for me. But it was never their fault, either.

I wanted to find someone I could love till the end.

Thank you so much @factorcanada @creativebcs for helping we keep going after losing my third album! Owe you so much xoxo
