Two years ago, we started a journey to unleash the benefits of the mother of all plants, algae. A plant we believe will dominate the food conversation over the next few years. After extensive R&D with our algal experts in California, and in depth culinary experimentation with fabled 3 michelin-star chef @danielhumm and his team at @elevenmadisonpark, we finally lift the curtain on our new culinary gold… @algaecookingclub

As we all seek novel pantry staples and oils that are better for us, while less taxing on our planet, here is a product that is the most versatile, healthy and flavor neutral chef-grade cooking oil on earth. These are a few reasons why we think you might like it:

1. Amplifies flavors: Light and slightly buttery, this is a chef-preferred oil that enhances flavors.
2. Highest good fats: More healthy Omega-9 Monounsaturated fats and 75% less saturated compared to olive and avocado oil
3. Highest smoke point: 535 F, 125 degrees more than olive oil; highest heat unlocks tasty textures; creamy, crunchy, fluffy, flaky, tender.
4. Gut healthy: lowest level of Omega-6 acid which is believed to cause inflammation in the gut and is a growing concern
5. Lowest impact: 1/10th land and water usage of vegetable oil and one-half the carbon footprint of avocado oil.

Welcome to the future of cooking! 🍳

New York is so much more than skyscrapers and Times Square. From parks and beaches, to the waterfront, there are plenty of places to relax and unwind.

If you don’t believe us, listen to Christina talk about her experience living in the Big Apple.

sooo i’ve been quietly building a new business for the last two years (!?), and i’m filled with emotion to finally share it with you 🥲

@shopinfinite is a home for limited-edition collaborations with indie brands — meaningful co-creation with the small, unique makers and designers that i find on late-night Instagram scrolls that make my heart skip a beat.

these extremely limited edition and largely handmade items will drop a few times a month (we move slowly, on purpose😊), and are meant to be kept and treasured forever. over time, the Infinite site will build into a beautiful encyclopedia of all the up-and-coming brands i collaborate and create with — a growing, discoverable list of sustainable, small businesses around the globe. Infinite will be a way to meet these brands via a one-of-a-kind collaborative product you can’t find anywhere else, spanning clothing, accessories, jewelry, home decor, and beyond…

i really won’t lie, building a new business is really f*ing scary and i have so much respect for anyone who’s done it. half the time i’m full speed ahead, and the other half i feel like i have no idea what i’m doing buttttt it’ll be a fun adventure together, right? 🙃😅

@shopinfinite’s first collab drop is coming 2.22.22 🐸 follow along and sign up for the email list for drop reminders and more ♾

special thanks to @verenschka, @chrisszly, @laurencaruso_, and the entire cobalt team (madebycobalt.com) for helping bring this crazy idea to life since day one.

let’s do this ☺️🚀🤭🧚🏻‍♀️

Trying to find the words for how grateful I am to Partners & Spade and the entire team for almost 6 years of creativity, exploration, growth and LOLs. What a company, what a team. It’s been a real honor to be design director and a pal to you all. You guys have made me feel like a true QUEEN! 💖😭💖😭💖 For now, moving on to some time off and freelance! Xo

Last week I teased that I was launching something (👋🏼 @enoughmedia), and got so caught up that I neglected to share the details here. I’m my own worst publicist 🤦🏻‍♀️

My @theno29 cofounder @melodyserafino and I have long wanted to create a storytelling platform that celebrates viable solutions to the inequities of today and the people who are changing broken systems—specifically environmental degradation and capitalism run amok.

I've always loved the word "enough." It's a declaration of being fed up (enough!), and it's also a statement of satisfaction (I have enough/there’s enough to go around). 2020 has been a year to reflect on what I've had enough of (plenty) and reflect on what makes me feel I have enough.

This is much of what went into creating @EnoughMedia——a podcast, newsletter, and website that highlights people across industries who are fed up with broken systems, but aren't giving up. They are people and brands who give me hope when I feel hopeless. It’s critical to be reminded of the good in the world, and despite the mess of this year, so many people have given me reasons to feel optimistic. I hope @enoughmedia captures that.

If you're interested, subscribe to the newsletter via the link in bio. And listen to our first two podcast episodes with @celinecelines and @camilla.marcus (on @itunes and @spotify).

Thank you to the people who brought this kernel of an idea to life: our brilliant editor @eshatravels, who brainstomed this with me on the back of a bus in the Amazon; our insanely talented designers @verenschka @chrisszly; the remarkable team at @pineapple.fm (@jenna_wb @new_balanceiaga @maxlinsky and Sophie Bridges); the founders of @VEJA @sebastien_kopp @fgmorillion, who are doing the hard work and inspired this passion project; and @clemencepoles who held us to task.
