Soaked my bones in a Kentucky lake before leaving town this week. Thanks @christaaolson for the early morning paddle board adventure so I could test out my new camera! After having so many underwater film camera struggles this year, I impulsively bought an OM System Tough TG-7….. like a few days ago lol. I figured since it literally has tough in the name it might be a better fit for meeee. I can’t wait to have it for this trip to see a few friends (I am sadly film free because I needed every ounce of room in my suitcase for this one haha) 🥹✨👏.

So why after 5 years of no performances, no worship nights, no engagement am I popping up all over in coffee shops and chapels and wherever I can find?

Its not to add to the noise

I think we need less
less entertainment
Less stimulation
Less dopamine
Less triggers

But we also need more
more time together
More vulnerability
More stories
More deep breaths
More shared melodies

We need each other.
And I miss it
I miss being in a room full of people who felt what I felt
I don’t have the answers
But I know I need people
So I’m headed to find them again
