It's Earth Day AND Lesbian Visibility Week so you're getting Alecto. I fear nothing will top this Earth Day shoot from 2023. Doing this shoot and making jokes and TikToks about Alecto the Ninth news is less funny 3yrs later tho 😭 What's also less funny is the closer we get as a society to just becoming this book series ourselves. A warning for series spoilers, I suppose.
.
It's tragic to think about the Earth itself becoming so desperate to be saved that it would empower one human to make or break it. Who of us could maintain that responsibility? There is so much work to be done but how do you stay focused on the actual task, when there is so much rage at the select few who ACTUALLY have the power to change the world? The money and the resources are there, they're just in the wrong hands. I'm not saying John Gaius is right, but I understand why he failed. Moreso, I understand my Eldritch horror apocalypse Barbie. She has so much love and rage and sadness. She's been sleeping for 10,000 years and woke up and there is still an enormous part of her that LOVES you, no matter what you've done or how long it has been. The Earth will continue long past humanity but we as humans can and should still give it our best efforts to work TOGETHER with this planet we live on. We cannot just escape and try somewhere new. And even if we could, what gives us the right? Some of us can't even resist using something as optional and useless as Generative AI--why do we deserve the opportunity to go destroy ANOTHER planet? The solution doesn't exist off in space, the solutions are HERE. Billionaires shouldn't exist. Mega corporations draining the planet of resources, causing mass pollution, withholding essentials, & making you pay for shit like the water you need to survive is fucking EVIL.
.
Recycling on a personal basis may not save the world but it doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. I was raised shaming litterbugs, picking up trash even when it's not yours, and seeing the land and animals and plants as cohabitants, not as something we are "above". If we do not care for these things, they will die and so will we. #earthday #thelockedtomb

The Legend of Zelda is 40 years old today. Check out all of the costumes from the series that I’ve made over the years. I feel like I might be missing one. Maybe one day I’ll complete my half finished Malon costume someday.

ID: Cass and Dwyn posed regally with red fabric draped around them on the light stone. A silly shot of them both covered in fake blood. An even sillier shot of Cass standing menacingly by the water.

💚2023 Conventions💚
5 Anime, 2 Steampunk, 1 Gaming, 1 Horror

At the beginning of 2023 I did not plan to attend a lot of conventions or events, but through friends I ended up going to 9!!!! Each one was a lot of fun and I made sure that all of them included spending time with my friends. I really needed those connections and am so happy I was able to spend time with current friends and old friends 💙
