Words can’t express the appreciation and love I have for Zeta Omicron. A few cold shoulders never hurt the Cold Blooded. 50 years strong!

In honor of our upcoming homecoming inspired SCHOOLED experience, we're putting Black Excellence #inthespotlite with stories from some of Boston's own Black college grads and young professionals!

Meet @christheoptimist: Chris Staten is from Chicago Heights, IL. He attended undergrad at Murray State University, grad school at Georgia State University, and business school at The University Pittsburgh. He recently moved to Boston to work for IBM in Cambridge, MA. His most memorable college experiences were starting on Murray State’s football team and also being initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated’s Zeta Omicron chapter.

This weekend was nothing short of amazing. From seeing my first born 😂😂😂😂 @under.stand_ marry the love of his life in Nashville to witnessing my brother present the colors at Cardinal Stadium in St. Louis. To each of you, I am beyond proud of you and the things you both have accomplished in life so far. 🤘🏾💯
