2025 What a year it has been. If you were to go back to January Geoff and tell him what this year would be, I don't think he'd believe you. There were some bumps and bruises along the way, lessons that needed to be learned about my own behavior and how I present myself. Breaking in places that I didn't know I could break, but also growing in places I didn't know I needed to grow. Among all the intense changes and lower points of the year, I was also blessed so many high points: brand new friends; strengthening friendships with existing friends; and many, many excursions on the road for concerts, theme parks, Renaissance faires all to make so many memories that could almost fill a lifetime. This year has taught me stillness. It forced me to try to be comfortable where normally I'd feel discomfort. To adapt and step back and to begin to learn that not everything has to mark or affect the rest of my day, week, month, or year. It's been a long, working effort to change how my brain operates and perceives things, but all for the better and what needed to happen at some point or another. I've made plenty of new friends this year who have helped to keep by my side when things became uncertain. My family was there for me as they always have been and continue to be, so it's been so much easier having all this community and support around me. Ultimately, I feel I have experienced the true beauty of life: the highs & lows, the mountains & valleys, the deserts & oceans. Life isn't always perfect and maybe it will never be our vision of perfection, but the beauty of it is learning who you are and finding people who have your back when the going gets tough. I am glad to have started discovering myself and finding my people. To all my friends, new & old, and to my family who has been here all along: thank you for a truly great year. It may not have been perfect, but it was worth living through everything and thank you for being there for me. I love you all. To 2025: it's been one crazy ride and here we are at the end of it all. To 2026: whatever you may bring, I hope I am ready for it.
