Part 3: The Delivery 🚚📦

After a lot of patience, delivery day was finally here! I grew up with a very handy father so I never really had to built much in my life. Needless to say after receiving my @balanced_body equipment, I’m now a master builder. 😂

Finally seeing the equipment in our beautiful space that I envisioned for so long was such a joy! So exciting and satisfying to see the space come together and it’s even more exciting to think these reformers will provide our community with positive energy and movement that not only challenges but provides a sense of longevity.

I’m 4 days out from the Leadville 100. My first 100-Mile ultramarathon. It’s nearly 4 marathons, with more than elevation gain than Mount Everest, with roughly 15,000 ft. of climbing.

I feel like I’m about to play in a state championship football game, and take the SAT’s on the same day. I’ve put in months-and-months of preparation, logging hundreds of miles. Going over gear and nutrition strategies. I’ve completed my fundraising for the @lifetime.foundation I’m Ready to do the damn thing!

I’ve assembled a crew of some amazing people who will keep me safe, and help me grind this ruthless course for nearly 30 hours. Couldn’t be more grateful for these people. @schlep01 @kennedy_trenton @christineqx. And with the guidance and training plan from my coach @aliciavargo I’ve never been more fit in my life.

This Saturday I find out what I’m made of, putting myself to the ultimate physical and mental test.

Ain’t nothing left to do, but to fucking do it.

March Matness Day 14: Bicycle 🚲

Let’s pedal into day 14 of March Matness with @christineqx from @coreburnbronxville

Lift your hips off the mat and place your hands where your back pockets would be, and split the legs with the bottom leg. Start by flexing your feet and then bicycle by bending the leg that’s far away towards the mat. As if you could kick your glutes or the mat. The opposite leg extends out in front. Reverse the bicycles and repeat!
