A year ago, this same room held some of the hardest days of my life.

Last night, it held laughter, friendship and joy.

Moving on doesn’t mean leaving anything behind. It means letting life back in.

And yes, it feels good to laugh again. ❤️

These two souls knew each other in another life & i knew in the moment that they met that i was just watching their joyful earthly reunion. Some stories find you exactly when you need them & if you let them, they might help you understand & tell your own story....that's what Mamma Mia & our donna turned-Auntie Christine-turned my daughters namesake-turned our family forever did for us...that kind of inspiration is what Word to Your Mamma is all about 💚🩷

I saw <Mamma Mia!> on Broadway last August 💙
The moment I saw it was coming to Broadway, I knew I had to go!

I later learned that many cast members were making their Broadway debuts, including Amy as Sophie and Christine as Donna. Christine even reminded me of Hae-mi Park, Korea’s original Donna!

I had already seen the show twice in Korea in 2023 & was going to see it again in Korea later that month, so I was excited to compare the productions.

Before the show, I asked an usher if I could film the curtain call. They said yes and mentioned the three encore songs. I said, “I know! I saw it twice in Korea!” and he replied, “Oh, That’s Cool!” 😊

Rewatching my videos later, I noticed Christine looking toward my side! 🥹 The ensemble seemed slightly larger than in Korea, and the choreography felt different and more powerful.
