Our founder Adam Neuhaus originated the film, brought on director Christine Turner, and sold it with Terminal B to Roku. The documentary follows WNBA stars Skylar Diggins, Sheryl Swoopes, Bria Hartley, Natalie Achonwa, and Allison Feaster as they compete at the highest level while becoming mothers.

I originated this film, found our director Christine Turner, and sold it with Terminal B to Roku. It follows Skylar Diggins, Sheryl Swoopes, Bria Hartley, Natalie Achonwa, and Allison Feaster through the hardest double shift in sports: competing at the highest level while becoming mothers.

This was one for the spirit as much as the senses. The screening of the Sun Ra: Do the Impossible (Dir/Prod: @christineturner ) was a fervent reminder of the treasures of the inner world meeting the needs of the outer, of building and fostering community, of creating with freedom and fearlessness.

This rare treat of a documentary that everyone should watch, was an ancillary event at this year’s Charlie Parker Jazz Festival organized by @jazzfoundationofamerica and @summerstage . The screening was held at the Studio Museum in Harlem @studiomuseum on August 23, 2026.

It was preceded by a performance by Sun Ra Arkestra member, saxophonist James Stewart @saxskate and his quartet and was followed by a wonderful audience inclusive QnA with former Arkestra member Craig Harris, organized by Stay For the Credits, “a curated cinematic experience and cultural event platform built around intentional programming, immersive screenings, curated audiences, and thoughtful conversation” and ImageNation Cinema Foundation (@imagenation.us ), which “is an innovative Harlem-based non-profit created to develop cinemas and audiences for independent films and music, that depict the global Black experience.”
