A million dollars issued and paid. 🥹

Less than two years ago, Empower was just getting started. And today, we got to see a number that once felt so far away become a reality.

I wish I could put into words how proud I am of this team.

Every agent who has put in the hours, pushed through the hard days, trusted the process, and continued showing up has played a part in getting us here.

There have been so many moments behind the scenes that nobody sees, and I think that’s what makes milestones like this so emotional. We know what it took to get here.

I’m incredibly grateful for the people who have helped build Empower into what it is today. Getting to watch this team grow, both personally and professionally, has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

We did it. And I couldn’t be more proud of us. ❤️

A week ago, this was happening.

Life Insurance Summit 2026 brought this community together for three days in Louisville — a private leaders' experience at Rabbit Hole Distillery, a full day on the main stage, learning labs, and a closing morning at Churchill Downs.

We've had a few days to let it sink in. The conversations. The sessions. The people in the room who reminded you exactly why you chose this path.

If you weren't there this year — you'll want to be next time. 🏇🥃

If you rush through the stakes, you may end up trying to convince the client of their problem at the end of the appointment.

Slow down. Ask the questions that uncover what really matters, then give the client enough time to process their own answer. Those moments can do more selling than another explanation ever could.

Pacing can be the difference between a client feeling helped and feeling handled.

It’s not just about how fast you speak. It’s also about giving the client enough space to process, respond, and feel like they’re part of the conversation instead of being pulled through your sales process.

Some would say “well that doesn’t look like work”

I get it! We all get together, we dress nice, smile big and are having fun, even a few celebratory drinks in hand, right?

What these photos don’t reveal is every speaker who showed up and poured value into the room, every side bar conversation picking up the next golden nugget from another agent or agency owner, every word of life and encouragement spoken into a new agent or new member of the team to pull them one arms-length closer, so they know with conviction they have others fighting for them in their corner.

If you’re still questioning what the heck goes on in these rooms that has all coming back for more over and over again…. Here is your invite to come and see!!

Not every company selling or transferring leads is operating like a legitimate lead vendor.

Some only pose as one—and the damage they can create for agents, agencies, and carriers can be significant.

Know who you’re doing business with before putting your production and reputation in their hands.
