today, we present the new split EP from @ideasforconversations, @christopher_emond, and Zachary Mezzo @mezzo4te [CROPR 11]. which doubles as our first-ever compilation. Atone for your [insert sin]… super limited @crane____operator CD release.. (?unknown quantity? copies available to pre-order now on the olrecords.com site)

Tbt. Traces the last year+ of joint shows, collaborations, and friendship twixt the roster-mates in New York, the *emotional* project brings each slightly into each others musical realm - the shared D n’ A in the 6 songs melds quaint folk guitar and bowed banjo with drum machines and synths abound, all weaved through by Mezzo’s layers of violin. It’s our pleasure

:>>See/find:
why?????? (ideasforconversations rework) — duo of champions rework Christopher’s unsung debut album cut with tearful force, mezzo violin underbelly, piano tracked just in time 4 release..

dance — Mezzo’s perhaps first ever pure dance track, dusted in i4c and Emond’s frills

dunjin — the *first? * song made for the project, everyone brings A game.. Mollie sings it out on this one over the dungeon synth - Em 2, n’ background vox and fingerpicked guitar from Chris/Alain, the layered Zach strings you’ve come to love

Drum machine — secret Snippet shared by Emond one year ago, produced on the Korg Triton to all Beck-et-Prince sensibilities channeled tronic

an introduction to drear use, whispered — preview of @alaincmontgomery and Emerson Fossett’s new #tape

reset — Devastating song from Zach alone. Crown jewel

Announcing a very special show at the Record Shop in Red Hook on Oct. 3rd!

Samantha asked if I could curate a show for her folk/experimental series and I’m extremely excited about the line up, which features some of my favorite artists working in that field. Come on down!
