Coach Nat @sicairos.softball took a chance on this girl and was the best coach we could have asked for coming into travel ball. I knew we made the right decision when Emma came out crying from her first practice 🤣 She couldn’t even finish a mile, but with consistency, she got faster and stronger. She recognized that pain is growth and soon enough, her mental toughness was breaking her through obstacles that only a coach who has been through it all can teach. Thank you Coach for taking the girl in slide 19 and turning her into slide 20. Thank u @camille_ibarra_50 for making the call! That’s you in slide 19 on September 24, 2024 hoping to recruit Emma and be teammates again. I’m glad you did that, and thank you 🙏🏽

West Coast Gamers was more than a team and an organization to us; we were alot like a family. Sage and Callia in slide 18 have seen Emma’s growth up close since the beginning at 10U Eastvale, and we’re thankful to call them our framily. Thank you Tom, Britni, Erik, and Jamie! We love you guys 🫶🏽 @tommygunn13 @caligirlbrit @ebengard @bengard_babes

Thank you to her sisters in armor, fellow catchers Bella Sanderlin, Reagan Roysdon, Jaylene Cruz, Taylor Mackey (T-Mack), Sage Harris (Big Poppa), Jojo Franco (THE Jojo), Allison King (Your Majesty), Bella Marquez. We love you lady lunatics and wish you nothing but the very best. Keep blocking bad pitches and bad vibes!

Our pitchers: Izzy Lares the OG (slide 17), Allison Arnold, Ellie Garcia, Allie Myers, Ileana Robles, Callia Bengard. You have all had a major part in shaping Emma into the person she is and have a huge spot in our hearts. Hope to catch you again someday soon!

And of course, we will miss the rest of our Gamers family past and present: Danyah Gonzalez, Arianna Avila, Alessandra Delgado, Camille Ibarra, Lana Davidosky (Slide 15), Emma Moreno, Rocky Hermosillo (slide 8), Delaney David, Kaylee Boese (slides 16-17), Jovie Rumishek (slides 16-17), Audrina Borchers (slide 16), Emily Melendez, Xio Barron, Scarlet Garnica-Molina (Red), Mila Rodriguez, Sydney Gorman, Tyler Harris, Alana Ortiz, Victoria Mier, and your wonderful families, We love you all!

The Barbershop - Fort Ritchie, is the love child of years spent behind the chair - from the West Coast, to the East Coast, and even Europe.

Our first highlight is Old Glory Barbershop and Tattoo, the very first shop I ever worked in. More than a shop, it was a place full of incredible people, music, conversation, creativity, community, and that unmistakable Venice Beach energy. A place where people came not just for a haircut, but to relax, connect, laugh, relate, and feel a sense of belonging.

That down-to-earth atmosphere shaped so much of how I view barbering and the kind of space I want to create now. A shop with personality. A shop that feels welcoming and lived in. Somewhere you can come as you are, have a good conversation, unwind, relax, and maybe crack open a cold PBR while you’re here. A place that feels familiar, comfortable, and real.

Some places stay with you forever, and Old Glory is one of those places for me. It means so much that I’m still in touch with the people I worked with there all those years ago, and that this shop has the blessing and support of my old boss and his wife, the owners of Old Glory. That truly means the world to me. #thebarbershop #thebarbershopfortritchie #fortritchiemd #ritchierevival #cascademd

I had a blast last night. It was good to see everyone. It made that long ass drive more than worth it.

You don’t need the sun to condition the heart. Great practice yesterday really happy with the growth of the kids not only physical but also mental growth. Let’s keep grinding and growing.

You can’t force people to believe in you. You have to show them what you can do, and if they still don’t see, then those are not the kind of people who deserve to benefit from anything that grows off of your tree.
No puedes obligar a la gente a creer en ti. Tienes que mostrarles lo que puedes hacer, y si todavía no ven, entonces no son el tipo de personas que merecen beneficiarse de cualquier cosa que crezca de tu árbol.
