The past 36 hours in a nutshell.
- family fun 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
- golf🏌‍♂️
‐ whitewater rafting 🚣‍♀️
- smoky Aspen Acres wildfire air 🔥
- trudging up all 2,768 stairs
of the Manitou Incline 🥾
- feeding giraffes 🦒
- hanging out with the ancestors 🦍

Holy hell, what will we do tomorrow?!

I started working at memo five years ago and I think it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I have learned so much, cried in so many stock rooms, casted approximately 10000 water bottles, and met some of the best friends I’ve ever had. love you all, bye forever.

🚨slightly emotionally vulnerable post alert 🚨

2023 was a very big year for my mental health! i got to see a lot of friends i adore and conquered several fears(thanks prozac) and made a ton of new memories. i truly have never appreciated life more than i do right now and i am so grateful for the life i have! and the people in it! and i am looking so forward to next year!

in 2024 i definitely will get better at taking photos when i’m with friends, and taking GOOD photos with friends cause this is all i have lol. also taking even more of the kids, notice how i don’t have one of me and andromeda??? absolutely bonkers!

Grateful for those Menorcan Blues. .

Reminiscing on my favorite day of the Spain @flowworldtravel trip each year. This year was no different. The cliffside paddle on the Balearic Sea with a man who has become a good friend over the years, Juan, AKA Pinky. Together we paddle & pop in & out of towering caves & picturesque channels, under rock caverns, & through low tunnels in the rock. It's not always the easiest moment, or the most relaxing moment on the trip.
If anything Juan AKA Pinky our incredible waterman & guide & I are on heightened alert the entire time watching the wind, watching the sea, watching, helping, & supporting our attendees & new friends as they navigate new experiences, explore new edges, & step into & celebrate greater levels of confidence, & empowerment. At times Pinky & I need to help each other water taxi a friend who could use a break from paddling, or is having a hard time paddling w/ the wind, or who could simply use a little help from a friend to get by on the sea. It takes a village!
.

And while it may not be the most relaxing or easeful moment.
It's always the most enlivening moment.
The most connected moment both to nature & to each other.
It's the most empowering & present moment,
when the mind cannot wander easily away from your own breath,
from the water below you,
the wind around you,
from the physicality you're asked to step into,
from your own heartbeat,
and from the sheer JOY that washes over your entire being as each exquisite sense is fully engaged, & fully savored. .

This year we paddled w/ more wind than we ever have, & we encountered thousands of poisonous jellies in the water around us, bobbing alongside us as we paddled & explored.
And somehow the intensity & raw beauty of the paddle made the moment & experience all the more magic. All the more special. We were more connected on the water as a group, as a family. More aware, more supportive, more patient, finding deeper levels of comradery, & belonging. .

Thank you Pinky, I love you friend, & thank you to each & every adventurous new familia that joined us on the water & on the Espana Adventure! Brandon & I will see you next year @paddlesurfmenorca! Xo
