POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Enchanted by the bonds we’ve formed and the 100s of mesmerizing sunsets painting the backdrop to our first year of living on the road, our first song release as Mela & Don, ‘Great Big Show’, is an ecstatic ode weaving together the delicate threads of human connection and the breathtaking marvels of the natural world.

Big thanks to all our friends we’ve met traveling down the road who have inspired us.

Link in bio to purchase the “Great Big Show” Song Pack 🎶 which includes a high quality mp3 download of the song you can play on all your devices, album cover with lyrics and desktop wallpaper and screen art for your computer and phones.

Late as usual 😜 but here’s a Skooliepalooza 2023 recap! #betterlatethannever

We made some memories that will last us a lifetime! We are so incredibly grateful for what this lifestyle has given us… Nomies for life, sunsets that never get old, freedom to do and go wherever the wind blows us and experiences we would have never known otherwise!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to get to know our little family and more importantly shared a little piece of your life with us. Every one of you are forever apart of our little wild family 💕

I can’t say the last time I was completely surprised by a dish, and then my friend Mela put her heart on a plate for me and I am now hooked.

This South African dish called #bobotie has changed my world and I will be making this often. So grateful for new friends and culinary experiences.

🚍Andrea still gets disappointed when we pass a bus, and it is full of…. school children. :::::::😊

It was only natural that we would eventually attend one of the biggest “skoolie” events of the year, Skooliepalooza. It was time to see what it was all about.
👇🏼
Full blog link in bio. Hope you enjoy friends! Tell us, have you been to Skooliepalooza, Burning Man, or Woodstock? What other event feels similar? What do you love most about it? For us, it always comes back to the people! We love the humans we’ve connected to and the community we are building 💕

Thank you @senorbussenstien for pizza night!!! Lake Mittry has been an amazing time of getting to know new friends, sharing food, deep conversations balanced out with plenty of laughs. I can’t explain over a reel just how serendipitous this spot has been with the nomads who joined us here and the connections we have discovered.

We followed our gut instincts to the water and it attracted all the right kind of energy and people.

✨Skooliepalooza 2023✨

While this year wasn’t quite like the last and we were missing so many of our old friends, the new friends we met this year left a big impact.

Taylor, unfortunately, bit off a little more than he could chew with a couple of projects that he didn’t expect to take as long as they did so I (Steph) was on my own for a big chunk of SP which really turned out to be a blessing. Not only did he kill it on the projects - we have a diesel heater and multiple other finished projects inside that I can’t wait to share with you guys but also I was able to step outside my comfort zone and learned so much about myself!

I discovered how to be more intentional in every conversation, I found peace in solitude, I learned to be more patient with myself, my daughter and my husband. Breath work with strangers rocked my world and I can’t wait to continue to practice what I learned.

We are still recovering and decompressing so I hope to have another recap of our time in the desert with so many beautiful human beings soon!

Shout out to the wizard 🧙‍♂️ @theparlaybus for getting this rad drone shot capturing just how magical this event is!

Another shout out to the entire group for welcoming our little family into their lives this week as if we were their own! Can’t wait to meet up again down the road 🤙🏻

A week ago we were all strangers, now we’re family! It’s amazing how quickly you can get to know someone when you’re parked in the middle of nowhere together for a week. Our Moto this week was “the road provides.” The road has truly given to me so much more than I ever thought it would have, especially friendships. The friendships I’ve made are what I will cherish forever. Thank you @skooliepaloozaofficial for bringing us together!
