My new puppet show, 'About the Maiden from the Apple Tree', is having its world premiere at the @caytonchildrensmuseum of Santa Monica this Saturday, September 26, with shows at 10:30 and 11:30 AM (each about 20 minutes).

It's my own English adaptation of a Czech fairy tale, 'O Jabloňové panně' (I could not find an English translation of it anywhere).

The story comes from an antique book given to me by Czech puppet master Jan Kindl in his enchanting workshop in Karlovy Vary, where I learned puppet making from him (but that is a tale for another time…).

Singer-songwriter @christopherhawleyrollers will be performing original songs live during the show. A thousand thanks to the Czech School of Los Angeles for the education and support!

Hope to see you there!
