Training in the new Vertex Gi from @punokworld and @centurymartialarts. This competition uniform has a SNAP that competes with the best of them. The fabric is breathable and light enough to allow full range of movement. The pant legs are extra wide which pave the way to seamless stance transitions and non-restricted kicks.

Be sure to pick up your set at CenturyMartialArts.com! Check out any of my teammates pages for a discount code 😉

Thank you @centurymartialarts and @paulmitchellmartialarts for ALWAYS supplying the best equipment to continue striving for my 1% growth with each day. #kastrong #centurymartialarts #punok #kata #vertex #wkf #karate #shotokan #weighvesttraining #vibratehigher #karatefromtheheart #creed #wako #cgear #kobudo #kihon @prsportkarate @comiteolimpicopur @wkcguatemala @guatemalasportkarate @sportmartialarts @officialusmat

🎙️ Grateful for the opportunity to be a guest on The Growth Blueprint podcast with Tabitha May-Tolub and Master Chris Rappold!

We had an inspiring conversation about my journey from 30+ year tech career to full-time martial arts, and the mission Kelly and I share to build confidence, character, and community at @personalbestkarateeaston 💪

It was real, a little fast-paced (😅 nerves!), but filled with heart and purpose.

If you're chasing your own “personal best” or looking to lead with impact, I hope this episode gives you something meaningful to take with you.

Back in July 11th, my 28th birthday. God is good and being 28 years old is blessing and challenging. 2 years, I fight and get through that darkness relationship time of my life, broke ups, lonely, and depressed. I found some friends and family with their support and love. God has plans for me, Focus myself with self love, love yourself, healthy, courage, kindness, peace, and happiness. Thank you Jesus, And my sport martial arts Journey still continues and I'm always follow my dreams and goals.
🙂🥋🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
God Is Good
Awesome God
✝️
(Psalm 47:2, which states, "For the Lord most high is awesome; he is a great King over all the earth," and Psalm 68:35, which says, "O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God." These verses emphasize God's power, majesty, and the reverence He inspires.)

US OPEN 2025!!!!!

This was one of the best tournaments I’ve been to so far, the weekend started off on Wednesday with the jpm legacy seminars taught by @esteban_tremblay_jpm, @dawsonsholt and @benjones0802, I learned a ton form it and I had a lot of fun!!!

Thursday was also amazing, it started off with a private lesson with one of my all time favorite forms competitors @dannyetkin, after that I got to enjoy some sync forms and team demos.

Friday was competition day, it started very early and we were running our forms all day but I believe I ran some of my best forms that day

Finally Saturday I got to watch some of my teammates fight and then I got to watch the night show which was a lot of fun, congratulations to @esteban_tremblay_jpm and @phillip._.brumme for winning the overall Cmx grands this weekend and huge thanks to @benjones0802 for giving me one of his trophies, it was one of the biggest highlights of the tournament and I promise when I win I will give that trophy back to you!!

Catching up on 2025 Posts - AKA Warrior Cup in Chicago. One of my favorite tournaments in my favorite city. I was blessed to have a strong return to the ring for the start of the 2025 season. The nerves are ALWAYS there but this year they were paired with some uninspiring self-talk…. I felt slow, over weight and mentally in a cloud. With the support of family and my @paulmitchellmartialarts teammates, the body remembered and my love powered a strong showing throughout the day which capped off with a Double Overall Grand Champion honors in the 30+ Divisions.

🏆 - 30+ Overall Grand Champion - Weapons
🏆 - 30+ Overall Grand Champion - Kata

The competition was fierce from both the women’s and Men’s champions. Everyone was pushing the limits to capture a spot in the night show to win the HISTORIC Warriors Cup. I was blessed to weather the storm and capture spots in both the Weapons AND Forms Warrior Cup Finals. It is always a honor to have the opportunity to share my heart with the world. @karatefromtheheart

Thank you to my sponsors @centurymartialarts and @paulmitchellmartialarts for the support and all the tools needed to perform my best and live out a dream. Thank you to the team @warriorcup @akaelite @matactionsports for always putting on an amazing event and night show. It is truly impressive to see it all come together!!
