I’m sitting in my bed in yet another ~new~ bedroom (Florida, this time!) and thinking about this semester. After a DREAM freshman year and a sophomore year where reality hit a lot harder and I sometimes felt stuck, I did my best to come into junior year with open arms to accept whatever came. Still, I could never have expected the ~new~ things God would fill them with. New soul sister from NZ, new roommates who, yet again, are angels on earth, new home with my family at the beach, new trips, new friends... anddd we’re only half way done! All of this on top of the goodness He had already laid out. What a dream. 💛💛💛💛💛

What a great first practice of the semester! Thank you to everyone who came out on this terribly hot day to train with us! A special thank you to Rohan who made the trek up to Athens just to spend one more practice with us before heading off to NYU! He may be an NYU Violet now but he’ll be a Georgia Dawg and one of UGA Taido’s founders forever!

Being an international student can be rough sometimes, which is why I wanted to be a world leader and help other international students get a heartwarming welcome to campus and prepare them for their uga career. Being a world leader is one of the best things I have ever done in my life (once a world leader, always a world leader.) I not only met even more people from all over the world, but I also had the BEST team of friends to support me through a really tiring but pretty precious week. Thank you @ugaisl for choosing me, I hope I can join the team again next year.

no words to describe how wonderful this past week was - if I tried, overwhelming and exhausting would be on the list but also fulfilling, empowering and just downright happy 🌟🌟 I definitely did not expect to gain 35 new best friends but here we are! Also did not expect to connect so well with some international students but my Thrilling 3’s, y’all did that!! Cannot be more grateful to have been a part of International Student Orientation this year ❤️❤️ (Can I get a essssquad 3??!!!?)
