Last week, I closed the chapter on Uruguay, a place that gifted me with unforgettable memories. I built close friendships, watched my children flourish, and grew in ways I never anticipated. I learned about things I once overlooked or took for granted, and the experiences, both big and small, shaped me profoundly.

Though there were challenges along the way, the richness of my experiences far outweighed the difficulties. In fact, some of those trials only served to deepen my relationships—transforming friends into my rocks, my foundation, my family away from family.

To all my friends who let me lean on them, who stood by me through the hardest moments, and who helped me find light in a year overshadowed by pain—I owe you more than words can express. Your unwavering support, your kindness, and the joy you brought into my life when I needed it most are things I will carry with me always. I am, and will forever be, deeply grateful.

As I close this chapter, my heart swells with gratitude and anticipation for what lies ahead in Mexico—a country that has long held a special place in my soul. Here, I have always felt the warmth of true welcome, and I know that my people and our just cause are embraced with genuine support.

While the horizon may still be clouded with challenges, I remain steadfast in my hope for brighter days, rooted in justice. My commitment to this fight—started by my ancestors—remains unshaken. It will endure until I honor their struggle and secure a future of freedom and dignity for generations to come. Free Palestine—always—until Palestine is truly free. 🫶🙏🏼❤️
