KIA EV 2026 📺

@iceartistes @icegenetics @thecastingstudio.cpt

Storytime: This is the ONLY commercial I have ever booked from a self-tape… I’ve had loads of options from tapes, but only had actual booking success with in-person castings. But this one… eish! It just goes to prove there is no winning recipe because… scroll to the end to see me cast for a electric vehicle ad wearing a shirt with an actual oil stain on it 😂 by the time I realised it was there, it was too late to re-tape and I was so over it, I just SENT IT. They bit 🎣 And the call-back…? Director on zoom, sub 5mins in-and out. Felt like a miss. But then, BOOM! Cast. Spent 3hrs on set, and that was it. Best morning shooting in ages, with @careylagoe and team running a tight ship and @up2daily serving main character energy behind the scenes all day errday. Sometimes you’re the hammer, and sometimes you’re the nail. That day I didn’t feel like a nail.

Weeeell this is pretty cool 😎💜

Yesterday evening I was promoted to purple belt at @renzograciect by my coaches @kylejabra , @dmanden302 and @i_am_kurdt !!! Not gonna lie, I am incredibly stoked. Like, a lot.

Of course the real celebration happened this morning and by celebration I mean ritual squashing just in case my head gets too big and I forget how much I still have to learn! But I did make a cake for the boys… chocolate for @greggpb who got his incredibly well-deserved brown belt and purple icing on top for me :) of course we can’t forget Keaton and Brandon who earned stripes and all the other amazing fighters who got promoted. This is a family we choose and literally fight for and I love it! 🤙🏼

Yoh… this hair of mine co👏🏼O👏🏼PE👏🏼RATED today!

My castings for the day required a bit of extra glam - it’s been a while since I attempted any kind of curls and boy the keratins did not disappoint! Perfect timing in between washes, temperature, humidity, moisturiser, hairspray and yes, a bit of sweat didn’t hurt either 💅🏼 😌

🥊 BEAST MODE 🥊

Throwback to playing The Beast for a quick fast little showdown at the end of ‘Gebokste Liefde’, opposite the fierce @tarrynlesli with @missnataliewalsh making the perfect stunt double (as always!). Fight choreo courtesy @trevivsto 🫶🏻 we had a blast with this one!

Fun fact - I accidentally packed my purple mouthguard instead of my black one for the shoot day, so in a desperate last-minute effort to salvage my character’s appearance (and credibility 😂), I popped a bit of black gaffer tape over the guard to cover any hint of purple. Boom! The Beast had a mouth as black as her soul ☠️🎥🎞️😎 #moviemagic

Assert dominance let them make the first move then strike like a cobra smash them be aggressive no free rides don’t give them any space to escape show no weakness don’t be afraid of your own strength don’t excuse yourself embrace the sweat take all their ankles until they can’t walk anymore and after all this remember to tap early and save your rotator cuffs because who are you kidding you might be a little monster but they are BEASTS🫶🏼😉

@ilonamaher made me post this. 😎💪🏼

Context: A few months ago on holiday, after a paddle around the marina, I was draining the kayak without letting it touch the ground. My father in-law thought my efforts were hella impressive so he took this pic. When I saw it later that day I thought DAMN I look so BIG 😱 but now I look at this photo and I think DAYUM look at ME 😎 Because you know what? This body is a one-of-one edition, it has defied the odds despite me putting it through the MOST over the years and just when I think its had enough how does it respond? It gets STRONGER. 🫶🏻
