Great to be at the unveiling of the William Mitchell murals at Foxborough Gardens. This has been a long process made possible through the hard work of the residents' association, with which I have collaborated over the last three years. The restoration reached fruition through HOLT and the Pilgrims Trust.😊 It was fun to be invited to give an impromptu talk on the day. Thank you, Christy Symington, for the shot of me in action😂

Christy Symington MRSS is a sculptor based in London whose work blends figurative and abstract styles to explore themes like history, culture, and our relationship with nature. Trained in Paris and New York, with time at London’s Slade School of Art, she brings a deep classical foundation to her contemporary practice. Her sculptures often give voice to overlooked historical figures, like Olaudah Equiano and Ignatius Sancho. Symington’s impactful pieces have found homes in major institutions, including the UK Parliament, New York’s 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and the Royal Museums Greenwich. ✨🖌️
