Thanks to all who helped making KYS to shine the light via film that abuse to kids is not acceptable! Congrats to the youth that had the courage to write it and act in it! You will be amazed and how good these young actors are! Love our collaboration each year with @kidsinthespotlight and thanks to all of our team @artistsforchangela who helped on set! Love directing these films and working with amazing foster youth! #filmmaking #socialimpact #directorslife

To our incredible TIE DIE family,

We have some news to share: We’ve officially thrown down the gauntlet and set our shoot date for this August.

Our Leap of Faith
Are we fully funded? Ha! Not quite. We’re still a couple hundred thousand short. But we decided to move forward anyway. We’re going to jump and let that net appear. Build it and they will come. We’re going to do all the work. Show all the work. And create the barreling momentum that makes investment partners want to join us.
Is it terrifying? Absolutely. Can we do it? Yes we can.

Progress So Far
- We have found the most brilliant, focused, and experienced Line Producer imaginable, Ivana Kingston. She is a firecracker who is already working magic on our logistics. She is one of the driving reasons why I know this will happen.
- We held our third weekly production meeting yesterday. We have a draft shooting schedule, budget, storyboards, and cast and crew wishlists. The vision is becoming a reality.
- We start looking at office locations next week. We are still open to suggestions here. Our search is for a 6,000 sq ft office suite to rent for the whole month of August.
- We are looking for 20 Investment Partners to join our LLC!
- We have a deadline, a team, and a shared mission to get Tie Die on screen!

You gave us our start
Your contribution got us this far. You’ve created a monster - or a killer tie. You were the first to believe in this story. As we head into this high-stakes summer, your belief in us is what keeps us going. It’s going to be a crazy year. But we’re driving forward with everything we’ve got, and we can’t wait to take you behind all the scenes as the pre-production begins.

Stay tuned—it’s about to get very real.
I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Sending thanks and love - with grit and gratitude,
The Tie Die Team - Chris, Nick, and Ivana
