It’s been over 6 years since my last pass in the GTR when it was a high 9s car. Words can’t describe the feeling of finally getting back behind the wheel again after all these years and with all the drama behind this car. It came off the dyno on Tuesday and Chris made sure it was track ready for @the_red_list_group that weekend. I was definitely in my feels on that return road.

My plan was to ease back into it maybe make a pass on wastegate, but everyone else had different plans 🤣 Luckily we forgot to plug the AWD controller back in and I got to make a slow pass to get the feel of things again. Car was limiting power since it was RWD only and ran a 10.0 (4th video). Once we got it plugged back in the car went 8.29 @ 172mph. We bumped up the power a little for the third pass and it went 8.18 @ 175mph. The car has a lot of room for improvement considering this was the very first track session. We ran out of time to install the line lock in so my burnouts weren’t the best. I’ll admit going straight into a deep 8s was a little outside of my comfort zone 😬

I couldn’t ask for more with how smoothly everything went from first startup, to the dyno, going deep into the 8s on our first outing, and the car drove on and off the trailer. This is a testament of the hard work @chrisvr35 puts into these cars.

Thank you to everyone who DMd me telling me how good it was to see the GTR running again and on the PBs. You guys are best 🫡 @ultra.r35 for always showing up and supporting and @ladyzla_ for the love, encouragement, and teaching me how to go fast

New muffler design in the process. This is our FFS3cqSS edition. It is 4 inches longer than our already popular FFS3cSS (3 chamber ss) with an additional pair of chevrons to reduce some of the decibels without compromising the classic and intentional tone of our products.

What a process !!! Cannot thank everyone involved enough!!! From buying the hull, to starting basic parts list , hard part rigging, plumbing, and even running the completed boat!!
