On Thursday, November 12th, don't miss Winnipeg's @virgorisingmusic on their Wishbone tour 🌙💙 Special guests @chrome.control and @ditchwitchband open up the night! 🎟 Get tickets at the link in our bio!

Virgo Rising is an indie rock band from Winnipeg, Canada. Led by vocalist and guitarist Emily Sinclair, alongside multi-instrumentalist siblings Jenna and Lauren Wittmann, the group blends distorted guitars, lo-fi samples, and introspective lyricism for a sound that is both tender and expansive—“knotty and intricate but never belaboured, " as Exclaim!’s Kaelen Bell describes, "a complex web of light put to tape." Their debut album, Wishbone, arrives October 2, 2026 on digital platforms, vinyl, and CD.

We never forget a sizzle reel 😉 Last week's show was at the @aviary.edmonton was amazeballs! @scene17band came through with the punky vibe our souls crave🤘
Rob's 70 y/o Dad came on stage for his one and only show to play Seven Nation Army! It blew all of our minds 🤯
@chrome.control coming through with a unique set that left us all on the edge of our metaphorical seats and to end off the night was our good friends in @fna.band playing so friggen hard that they were demanded an enchore

FOUR YEARS OF ART FOR CHANGE!

We have come suchhhh a long way in the last four years. Today we are reminiscing on all of the beautiful performances, speeches, and moments of connection AFC has fostered. None of this would be possible without our fantastic performers, volunteers, partner organizations, venues, and speakers. We have so much gratitude for everyone who had attended and contributed to Art For Change over the years ❤️‍🔥 Here’s to many more years 🎉
