✨This requires a major shift in mindset, it requires acceptance of your current reality. It doesn’t mean you stop seeking treatments that may help, but it helps to not feel disappointed if a treatment doesn’t result in a cure. A treatment that provides 10% improvement of a symptom is effective… it “worked”. It is a small step forward. ⏩ 📈4 years into this journey, I can see how all of those small improvements have added up. They haven’t added up to 100 and I’ve had setbacks such getting COVID again, surgery, a car accident- but I won’t stop inching forward in my recovery. It’s an adjustment in expectations 💜 Thank you @covid_institute for this reminder. #thrivingtrifecta #longcovid #chronicillness #dysautonomia #eds
