What is your favorite ghibli/anime film today? 🌱

Hellooooo people!!! I want to celebrate one of the most impressive art mediums in the world- animation!!!! Specifically anime because oh my gosh, anime has taken over my watch time lately, specifically Haikyuu and Ghibli films!!!

I don't think I have ever watched a Ghibli film I truly disliked. The art is just so impressive. You can pause any of their films at any time, and you have a masterpiece. It is absolutely incredible!!!! My favorite film is probably Ponyo because one, I watched it as a kid, so nostalgia explodes out of every plotline, and two, there are prehistoric creatures like trilobites and Panderichthys!!! I am a huge paleontology nerd, so any movie with extinct creatures instantly becomes a favorite!!!!

Secondly, Haikyuu- oh my gosh, this anime has ruined my brain chemistry, ghfhgghggh. I literally have had three wish fulfillment dreams of playing volleyball since watching it, and I joined my local volleyball group, I am completely obsessed, aaahhh. This is probably spurred by nostalgia as well because i used to play volleyball as a wee sprout, hehe. I really relate with Shoyo because I am relatively short, especially compared to most volleyball players, so I can definitely smell the gunpowder coming off the battle against stature, lol. Honestly, the themes are so mature and kind, haikyuu is definitely a new favorite for me!!!

I will tag some of the latest art acc I have found so you can check them out. Let's all fight against the insta algorithm and support fellow artists!!!! >D<

Here we are, the final post of the final prompts on the final month of 2023. We rejoin the group in the clearing from the first batch of prompts as they party on into the evening 🎉 The little ones are no longer underfoot, but showing a lot of interest in the confetti poppers 😆 Everyone's gaily eating and chatting away, celebrating the end of another year ❤️

This is my combined entry for these four lovely prompt lists!

#decempurr2023, Holiday food & Cat (hosted by @calmingi @puchidoodles @lenasscribbles @grandma.keiko @ojh.artsy @bunny_bun_bakery @im.lolaaaaa @nimoontales @snw_sp @maruartjp)

#merrymakers23, Holiday Party! / Christmas Feast! (hosted by @figberrytea @thehappylittlemaker @coucou_illustration @texmexdoodles @merccimakes @peanutprintz @gemamels)

I've had an amazing time and a very big learning curve on these sets of prompts. I've pushed myself harder and discovered that I'm not so bad at creating an entire scene after all. But enough "I"s, because all your supportive and positive comments really meant a lot, and for that, THANK YOU ❤️❤️ Wishing you a lovely year end, and I'll see you in the next one!

I sadly can't tag all the amazing hosts, but please check them out!

Image Description: Cute illustration of anthropomorphic forest animals in a forest clearing, sitting around a table stump where they've enjoyed a feast of food and festivities. A fox just pullied on a confetti popper while a cat and a kitten share a wishbone. A deer is showing a tiny hedgehog how to pull the popper string. A guinea pig is stuffing its face with salad, while a baby guinea pig peeks into an open box of poppers. A bunny and another cat continue to eat while a pair of squirrels cuddle together. Every character is wearing cosy, festive clothing, and sweaters. There are used poppers strewn about and 7 tiny fairies sneaking around to join in the fun.
