✨Focaccia✨

For me, a focaccia needs to have an open crumb structure, meaning that when cut open, they should have large holes, not tiny ones found in regular bread. It should be airy but springy, not crumbly and dense.

I managed to dedicate 23 minutes’ worth of undivided attention to a single focaccia tutorial, which was insane. Probably a personal record. Special thanks to @helen.rennie for making such an in-depth video so interesting :).

Not bad for the first try at making focaccia, though I was fully prepared for it to fail. It took me roughly 2 hours wrestling with the hydrated dough, and extra 3-4 proofing times totaling up to almost a day to make this bread baby. But it was so, so worth it. Had to take these babies on the bus with me and was feeling hungry the whole time because they smelled so good (olive oil + cherry tomatoes + good salt = 👌🏼).

Finally, big thanks to @chubby.apple for prepping đồ nhậu to go with my bread baby and taking photos with her fancy ass camera hihi

Another way to make focaccia is with a poolish (basically a starter), which I’ll try next time :)

🍁 There is probably no easier dessert made of a few ingredients that can be made without much effort 🍎🍂🍃
.
You'll need:
.
• 4 apples
• 4 tbsp peanut butter
• 4 tbsp sour jelly
• a handful of raisins and favorite nuts
• 1 tbs honey
• Pinch of salt
.
🍎 Cut top of the apple (about 1/3 of apple) to make a “cap” with a tail.
🍎 Mix in a bowl raisins, nuts, honey, peanut butter.
You can also add a bit of salt (it really ups the taste!) Put everything inside the apple, then put the jelly on the top.
🍎 Cover the apple with apple cap.
🍎 Bake for about 25 minutes in 180C.
🍎 Ready!

“Beautifully made Oyakodon by @miyamacafe. This simple Japanese dish, basic but it’s something that you would eat again and again! Chicken, eggs and onions are shimmered together in Dashi and soy sauce, served on top of Japanese steamed rice; creates the most powerful flavour bomb after the first bite! You know like in Ratatouille, when Remy was teaching his brother how to taste food! Yes that kind of fireworks!! Try to find this kind of umami too in life, not just food!”
