Still doing therapy on my bruised right ass cheek/hip bone… after nearly 3 years of not being able to find time to snowboard finally got to get my lonely ROSSI out of storage over a week ago after opening weekend for many snow parks out here in Colorado, still only machine made snow and very limited runs open but REAL SNOW is coming.
Just after getting comfortable after a few runs down, I got too cocky trying to go faster and had a nasty cartwheel body slam… but am so ready to go again!!! Might have some new gear to breakout!
“The Art of Flight” still my top favorite snowboarding/ski film/documentary… even if you don’t snowboard/ski the cinema photography, the music, the wicked awesome SKILLS of these extreme riders, including the helicopter pilots are incredible to watch.

I’m so late sharing pics from the end of October when Julie came back to town! Not because I forgot, but because I knew I’d need to say a little something along with the pics and that’s been hard. 🥺I have missed her so much - It was beyond amazing to see her and spend so much time together, but stung all over again having to say bye (really just ‘see you soon’, but still!). From the moment she came off the airplane (Julie, remember how that woman in front of you wouldn’t move out of the way when I came up to the gate?😂 ), to eating so many good things all weekend, running random errands, doing our traditional scare house Stoney Point Trail of Terror, inventorying the storage unit, celebrating Jack’s BD and first legal beer purchase, probably driving everyone crazy with our nonstop giggling, to fancy cooking at K POT, and gift exchanges in the hotel room, it was sooooo much fun. I love how we fell right back into step as if no time had passed. And our calls and texts have got us through her move and has been great, but there’s nothing like actually being face to face and hanging together in person. Planning has already commenced for next time - I can’t wait!💚💜🎃🐻

Hot Air Balloon Festival… Colorado Springs… Never stop having adventures… another check mark off our Adventure List. Got to help with the inflating and deflating the ballon with the Pilot who has completed multiple Ballon races across the world… including holding the record for long distance race.
